BIO

Brooklyn Born, raised in Lithonia, GA

I was born on Nov 6, 1999 in Brooklyn, New York to two wonderful parents: Brian and Shirley King (from Barbados and Grenada respectively). From a young age, I always had an affinity for STEM. I reminisce then when I would voluntarily watch the science channel as a child. I was enthralled by the show How It's Made. I remember loving figuring out how machinery worked. When I was in high school, this passion led me to find that electrical engineering was the path for me. I am now on track to graduate in 2023 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

ORGANIZATIONS

PHI BETA SIGMA FRATERNITY INC.

I joined this fraternity because I believed in the principles: Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service. At the Nu Beta Chapter of Georgia Tech, I have worked tirelessly to make my community a better place through this organization.

NATIONAL SOCIETY OF BLACK ENGINEERS

Through this organization, I am able to build a network of industry connections, promote my brand, improve my community, and better my academic performances. When I attended Morehouse, I served as the Parliamentarian of the AUC Chapter.

AUC MAKEWAY

I helped cofound this organization in order to allow students with a passion for STEM to express themselves. Within this organization, we participated in engineering competitions, held workshops for technical skills, and created leaders through mentorship.

"If we did all the things we are capable of, we would literally astound ourselves"
