Solar Powered Slow Cooker

In Fall 2023, I worked on a senior design project focused on creating a solar powered slow cooker. The requirements were to make it affordable, able to withstand rain, be able to feed a family of five, and be 100% renewable energy powered. I worked specifically on the electrical design of the project and ran several tests with my group members to determine which days were sunny enough to cook with the device. We even served hot chocolate to judges at the Senior expo!
